Partner with the best

To Prepare proposals/bids, contract negotiation and compliance with contract commitments and commercial risk assessment. Contributes to sales plan in a specific region. Defines sales strategy for targeted clients.

As a Lead Commercial Proposal you will be responsible for:

  • Working with the OFSE and product line sales teams within the country to build and maintain a healthy opportunity pipeline
  • Ensuring that the tender documents are completed and accurate
  • Developing proposals; negotiating with customers; ensuring deals deliver shareholder value; driving competitive pricing. Will include compiling and submitting required tender documentation.
  • Compilation of tender documents i.e. ability to draft plans, policies, procedures and ensure that all mandatory documents are updated
  • Attending tender briefing meetings
  • Maintaining accurate records electronic copies of completed documents
  • Be able to process quotations, tender extensions
  • Searching for relevant tenders on various platforms
  • Coordination, compilation and completion of tender documents
  • Ensuring the bid process is followed
  • Coordinating collection of tender documents and ensure submissions are made on time
  • Following up on tenders submitted and maintain a database
  • Updating all spreadsheets, databases and records
  • Organizing and scheduling meetings
  • Developing/maintaining a filing system.
  • Responding to emails
  • Reviewing of commercial terms and conditions in tender and contract documents
  • All activities within the Tender governance processes within the commercial policies, processes, and procedures.
  • Handling diverse clients in a region.

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college with at least 4 years of experience in Sales. Minimum of 3 additional years of experience in Proposals.

  • Have commercial and contractual expertise. Knowledge in commercial trades, logistics, incoterms and pricing.

  • Have experience in developing and writing specifications and/or proposals

  • Be fluent in English and be experienced in using Microsoft office applications mainly MS Excel.

  • Be able to demonstrate good oral and written communication skills

  • Demonstrate effective problem identification and solution skills
