Your new role

As our new Senior or Chief Consultant T&I, you will be part of our global Offshore Wind Advisory team. You will take on a key role as subject matter expert and will lead and support working packages relevant to the definition and business case preparation for the Balance of Plant (i.e., foundations, offshore substations, inter-array, and export cables) and / or WTG Transport and Installation scope within origination and early development projects. You will support our clients in identifying the most suitable technical concept as per the corresponding site conditions, local market conditions (e.g., localization requirements), and risk appetite.

Your key responsibilities

As part of a multidisciplinary project team, you will take on diverse tasks and responsibilities of varied complexity and scale, such as:

  • Provide strategic advice in areas within the T&I scope in a varied range of assignments, covering but not limited to supporting our clients in shaping winning strategies for auction processes or in major investment projects for supply chain market entry
  • Deliver technical due diligence assignments supporting large and complex finance transitions taking responsibility for the T&I scope
  • Take a project role in the T&I Package within our Owner's Engineer service delivery, with responsibility over package interfaces, program, risk, and change management process, managing and supporting a multidisciplinary project team
  • Lead working packages relevant to the technical preparation, coordination, and management of the T&I scope tendering processes in collaboration with external stakeholders and our clients, including review of offers and their subsequent technical evaluation
  • Support standardization processes and initiatives across the Wind Advisory team aiming at developing standard and modular technical requirements for the contracting of the T&I scope in international projects

You will be part of our global Offshore Wind Advisory team working on offshore wind farm developments worldwide. Based in one of our offices in Copenhagen, Hamburg, Madrid, Oslo, London, or Princeton you will join an established and vibrant team of highly talented and engaged colleagues providing consulting services to our clients along the whole value chain of wind projects. You will collaborate with local and international colleagues and play a critical role in defining and delivering projects, developing innovative solutions, and shaping and enhancing our service delivery.

About you

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant topic area; a master's degree or other advanced degree is preferred
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience in offshore construction project development, execution and / or operation within an offshore engineering company, offshore contractor, or as a Marine Warranty Surveyor
  • Industry knowledge and an understanding of design and engineering, operational challenges, interfaces, and risks of offshore wind farm development
  • Preferably on-site or method engineering experience in cable laying, WTG installation, floating wind, or offshore operations in general
  • Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental requirements associated with offshore construction projects
  • Track record of presenting technical options to clients, ideally including evaluation of options on cost basis
