Summary statement on overall purpose and function of the position.

The Workday HRIS Analyst plays a key role in ensuring the smooth operation and optimization of our Workday platform, supporting critical HR processes through the entire employee life cycle. This role will leverage technology and business knowledge to resolve problems and enhance functionality. The analyst will apply comprehensive knowledge of human resources principles, concepts, and best practices in designing, developing, configuring, and maintaining the system.

What will be your Duties and Responsibilities?

The following are the essential functions of this position. This position may be responsible for performing additional duties and tasks as needed and assigned.

  • Provides day-to-day HRIS support to Human Resources and the organization.

  • Provides end user technical support; problem solving; process flow documentation; process change requests.

  • Provides user training and support to ensure employees and managers can effectively utilize the system.

  • Writes, maintains, and supports advanced reporting for Management.

  • Maintains a holistic view of the system to understand cross-functional impacts regarding configurations, business processes, reporting and integrations.

  • Designs, builds, and tests configurations, calculations, and business processes across the Workday platform to support business needs.

  • Tests and implements planned system enhancements.

  • Monitors project progress by tracking activity, resolving problems, publishing progress reports, and recommending actions.

  • Responsible for generation and follow up of periodic data integrity reporting to maintain employee data accuracy.

  • Ensures application key controls are met for annual IT audit.

  • Completes work in a timely and accurate manner while providing exceptional customer service.

  • Stays current on the latest industry technologies, trends, and strategies.

  • Operates in compliance with all local, state, and Federal laws as well as Company policy and compliance standards.

  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

  • Regular attendance required.

What skills and experience you will need?

The requirements listed below are representative of the education, knowledge, skill and/or ability required for this position.

Education/Certifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Information Systems or related field or equivalent work experience.

Experience, Skills, Knowledge and/or Abilities:

  • Minimum of two years of Workday HCM experience.

  • Solid understanding of HR practices and laws and various government statutory requirements on employment standards, compensation, benefits, payroll, etc.

  • The ability to create custom reports with Workday reporting tools is required.

  • Advanced level computer experience, including skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Experience in human resource analytics and metrics.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and project management skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to data accuracy and compliance.

  • Works collaboratively to build, develop and implement process improvements.

  • Experience in developing and implementing HR processes and applications.

What qualifications are preferred?

The education, knowledge, skills and/or abilities listed below are preferred qualifications in addition to the minimum qualifications stated above.

Education/Certifications:

  • Workday certification

  • PHR or SHRM certification

Additional Experience, Skills, Knowledge and/or Abilities:

  • Experience in Workday Payroll, Benefits, Compensation, Absence, Time Tracking and Integrations preferred.
