Job Summary
Reporting to the Executive Director of Economic and Workforce Development, the RCAM Operations Director promotes regional workforce development by working with the Regional Center for Advanced Manufacturing and the Technical Education Complex to develop and maintain for-credit and non-credit programming that meets local and national workforce needs. They are instrumental in assisting/maintaining community business partnerships and to direct the daily operations of the Regional Center for Advanced Manufacturing, Regional Center for Advanced Manufacturing Community Outreach, and Regional Center for Advanced Manufacturing Academy.
Job Duties
* Work with the Blountville Technical Education Complex (TEC) and the Kingsport Regional Center for Advanced Manufacturing (RCAM) to identify synergies and solutions to regional workforce development needs; support creative solutions for RCAM and TEC facility usage.
* Direct the daily operations of RCAM, RCAM & CO, and RCAM Study Center.
* Collaborate with Executive Director of Economic and Workforce Development and the Dean of Technologies to develop partnerships with business and industry.
* Develop and monitor assigned budgets and accounts for expenditures.
* Assist in recruitment, advisement, and registration activities as appropriate.
* Provide leadership and director for Earn and Learn programs for Technologies, including but not limited to apprenticeships and internships.
* Assist in the preparation of proposals and implementation of grants.
* Complete other assignments as directed by supervision.
