The Day to Day (Responsibilities):

  • Manage training inquiries for customer and internal training by collecting necessary information and logging the request in training request tracking system.
  • Coordinate training requests with training departments at Japan factories and other global TEL companies.
  • Schedule training classes in coordination with instructors and Training Dept management.
  • Create training quotes and manage customer billing process, act as Administrator for TEA for TEL training credit management system (TCMS).
  • Create and distribute required class documentation, e.g. rosters, certificates, onsite training agreements, etc.
  • Manage training records (schedule, student completions) in internal training management systems and, if applicable, customer training management systems.
  • Manage documentation for course description/syllabus, student guides, and curriculum in SharePoint, TELCustomer, and other systems as needed.
  • Order parts, tools, and supplies as required to support training needs.
  • Perform duties as Workday Learning Administrator for technical training related courses for TEA, support Workday Learning requests for Instructional Development team as needed.
  • Support Training Dept. Quality Document Coordinator with records updates and management as needed.
  • Support curriculum development as guided by a course developer following TEL's Corporate Visual Guidelines.
  • Act as Training Dept. SharePoint site administrator.
  • Generate status updates and other reports for supervisor/manager as requested.
  • Act as liaison with other internal departments for projects related to training scheduling, billing, or records management.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Must Haves (minimum qualifications):

  • Bachelor's Degree; or Associate's Degree with a minimum of 2 years of related experience; or 4 years of related experience in lieu of degree; high school diploma or equivalent required.

The physical demands described herein are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This job operates in an office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets. This is a largely sedentary role; however, some filing is required, which would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 35 pounds. This position also requires 4 to 6 hours per day at a computer screen/keyboard.
