About the Job:

The Systems Integrations Engineer II will have primary responsibility to design, build and deploy solutions across the Odyssey organization for new integrations using Boomi Atmosphere. This role will also assist in the migration of legacy integrations to the Boomi platform as well as support existing integrations already established in Boomi.

In This Role You Will:

  • Utilize multiple data sources such as DB2, Netezza, Oracle, MS SQL Server, Complex Flat Files, Delimited Files, and XML files for handling feeds.
  • Create Solution Blueprints & Detailed Design, that supports the business needs and ensure that it is secure, scalable, reusable, and easy to maintain and upgrade.
  • Design high-performance web applications, integrations, and APIs, enabling fantastic customer experiences and pro-actively mitigating any degradation of service in production.
  • Support multiple integration solutions throughout the organization.
  • Migrate Integrations and EDI from legacy applications / external managed services to Boomi.
  • Work with Global IT Infrastructure team to maintain Boomi environment.
  • Assist Global EDI team with setups and troubleshooting EDI trading partners.
  • Assist Global Helpdesk and Application Support troubleshooting issues with Boomi integrations between corporate and business unit applications.
  • All other duties and projects as assigned.

Qualifications

Required:

  • M.S. or B.S. in Computer Science\Engineering or related field.
  • 1-2 years' experience with Boomi Integration.
  • 3+ years' experience building integrations.
  • Proficiency with REST APIs, Web Services, FTP, SFTP, SQL.
  • Experience working with, manipulating, and mapping XML, JSON, CSV, flat file, etc.
  • Knowledge of Logistics and transportation systems, including EDI, a plus.
  • High-level analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to project manage. Experience with Agile methodology a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail required.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age or older.

Location: This is an in-office role in Charlotte, NC
