About the Position

The Recruitment and Outreach Specialist will be responsible for delivering full life cycle recruitment and staffing. He/she/they will be responsible for rapid recruitment to include sourcing, generating leads, identifying, screening, interviewing, negotiating offers with, and recommending candidates to be hired for projects under Dexis Professional Services. The Recruitment and Outreach Specialist will work closely with technical and corporate staff to attract competitive talent through networking and also employing traditional sourcing strategies and developing new, creative recruiting approaches.

The full-time position is based in Arlington, VA and will be required to be in the office at two (2) days a week

Responsibilities
  • Effectively partners with internal resources including hiring managers, the Talent Acquisition team and others across Dexis to lead full cycle recruitment: sources for contacts, generates leads, identifies, screens, interviews and recommends potential candidates to be considered for current positions under Dexis Professional Services.
  • Manages the development of recruitment and outreach strategies.
  • Searches for recruiting avenues to expand networks and outreach; recruits qualified candidates to fill project openings utilizing resume databases, employee referrals, social networking; ensuring positions are filled in a timely manner.
  • Proactively identifies new and innovative sourcing strategies for both current and future recruits.
  • Leverages social media networks to look for, advertise, and connect with potential candidates.
  • Develops and maintains relationships and a pipeline of strategic technical experts, as well as broadly recruits junior, mid and senior level talent for new opportunities.
  • Develops and posts position advertisements, acquiring necessary approvals through our recruitment system.
  • Maintains accounts and relationships with various job boards and career networking websites.
  • Logs active and prospective candidate information into applicant tracking system and candidate pipelines and continually updates recruitment trackers.
  • Arranges interviews; prepares and negotiates offers to finalists.
  • Conducts reference checks and completes biodatas for candidates as needed, including collecting verification documents and routing for signatures.
  • Collaborates with the hiring managers to finalize candidate selections by preparing and supplying vetted candidates.
  • Aggregates annual reporting data for inclusion in project deliverables.
  • Tracks data on recruitment efforts, especially as related to diversity, and regularly seek to improve recruitment processes.
  • Participates in external career fairs, conferences and networking opportunities to develop candidate pipelines.
  • Maintains compliance with EEO and OFCCP regulations, keeping applicant flow data for Affirmative Action Plans.
Qualifications
  • Bachelorsdegree in human resources, organizational development or relevant field.
  • 6+ years of recruitment experience required.
  • Prior experience working in a fast-paced environment recruiting technical experts.
  • Strong networking, interviewing, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven communication and networking skills including professional phone manner and ability to handle cold calling assignments.
  • Knowledge of employment laws, OFCCP, and EEO regulations, standard HR practices and procedures strongly preferred.
  • Proficient in using applicant tracking software.
  • Strong oral and written communicationskills, be able to interact effectively, and in a professional, tactful manner with candidates, employees and senior management.
  • Metrics-oriented, analytical thinker who is able to analyze, interpret, present and act upon data.
  • Experience building networks with minority serving institutions, a wide array of professional associations and developing robust pipelines to advance DEIA goals.
  • Strong computer and database application skills and proficiency with spreadsheets (Excel, PowerPoint, Word.)
  • A high level of confidentiality in handling employee information.
