This position reports directly into the Assistant Dean of Programs for the Pitt Business School at the University of Pittsburgh and will provide strategic design and execution for the school's strategic enrollment management priorities and the top of the funnel admissions operations that support them. This manager and their team work closely with the school's program admissions, business, and marketing units to help design and support recruiting for all areas of the business school. This includes undergraduate, graduate, and executive students for degree and non-degree credentials i.e., badges, certificates, and minors.
Provides leadership for the School's strategic priorities and the operations that support them. Works closely with the School's academic leadership, research leadership, business leadership and the University to support excellence and distinction in fulfilling the School's mission and goals.
Provides operational oversight of the strategic enrollment plan to ensure alignment with the school's strategic goals including:
Responsible for establishing and operationalizing a strategy to cultivate prospects, inquiries, and applicants to the school's programs i.e. top of funnel admissions strategy.
Supports generating prospects and inquiries for other non-traditional clienteles including current University undergraduate and graduate students, executives, and organizations.
Works closely with all program admissions teams to ensure a high-quality student experience as a student moves from prospect to applicant.
Closely monitors industry trends to quantify strengths, opportunities, and threats relative to the school's positioning.
Collaborates with Senior Leadership to design strategy and direction for recruiting and enrollment, for marketing and communications that maximize internal and external stakeholder relationships, and for data analytics.
Provides budget management, assessment, goals, and strategies. Supervision of staff, which includes hiring, conducting performance reviews, documenting disciplinary actions, and overseeing other human resource administration. Provides professional development opportunities. Distributes and reviews work.
The incumbent may be required to lift packages or boxes in excess of 15 pounds at times. May also travel around campus to meet with key stakeholders. Position is mainly sedentary.
