Overview:

We are looking to fill two Data Specialists roles in our Planning Department. The ideal candidates will have positive/can-do attitudes, like working in a team environment, have excellent attention to details and a minimum of six months working on the manufacturing floor or in operations at Thales Defense & Security, Inc.

Responsibilities
  • Work proficiently in SAP system to include the following:
    • Review and enter data accurately to include creating/viewing routers in Factory Logix MES
    • Create production routers with all supporting documents, includes process flow, times, adding quality notes (currently known as Test codes) to route steps, tying drawings and MWI's to route steps, Assigning material to route steps
    • Create rework routers with all supporting documents
    • Create planning version
    • Associate planning version, router, mBOM, and eBOM back to PLM revision through use of "Manage Change Records" app
    • Navigate master data for phantomization, MSL, hazard, Reach, Rohs, Software versions, shelf life, min/max
  • Create and view routers in PeopleSoft.
  • Navigate PLM system to find BOMs, AML, ECN, MWIs, guidelines and tests procedures.
  • Use Factory Logix as an operator to perform work
  • Must be able to work in team oriented environment to gather and share this knowledge with other factory personnel on SAP and Factory Logix.
  • Other duties as assigned with data or within the operations department.
  • This is a project role only opened to current TDSI employees.
  • Must be able to follow and abide by all company policies, procedures and guidelines.
Qualifications

  • Candidate MUST be U.S. citizen. This role may be selected for work that requires ability to obtain and maintain US Secret Level Security Clearance.
  • 6 months - 2 years of manufacturing experience
  • Must have at least 6 months experience at TDSI in operations or manufacturing.
  • Must have excellent data entry and computer skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and work ethic
  • Effective oral and written communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projects
  • Excellent verbal and written communications - Fluent in English.
  • Must be able to be flexible on work assignments as workflows require.
  • Ability to comply with all Company guidelines, policies, procedures and embrace Company Core Values.
