Job Duties:

As a Interactive Teller Representative II, you'll play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to our credit union members. You'll engage with members through various channels, including in-person interactions, video calls, mail, and telephone. This position will also involve cross-selling products, loan origination, addressing member inquiries, and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures. Here are the key responsibilities:

  • Member Engagement and Transactions:

    • Provide courteous service for transactions (deposits, withdrawals, transfers).
    • Balance checks and cash accurately.
  • Remote Assistance and Technology:

    • Assist members remotely with video teller and ATM machines.
    • Maintain knowledge of technology tools.
  • Loan Payments and Account Services:

    • Receive loan payments and verify amounts.
    • Share basic account information with members.
  • Proactive Member Outreach:

    • Contact members regarding accounts and services.
    • Follow up on loan applications.
  • Compliance, Training, and Security:

    • Adhere to policies, report suspicious transactions.
    • Stay updated on training and security practices
  • Needs Assessment and Recommendations:
    • Conduct thorough assessments to understand member needs.
    • Provide personalized product recommendation
  • Cross-Selling and Loan Processing:
    • Cross-sell credit union products based on needs.
    • Accurately processing and originating loan applications.
  • Continuous Learning and External Engagement:
    • Stay informed about products and policies.
    • Support external business development events.


Knowledge and Skills for Member Services Representative:

  • Minimum of twelve months in a financial institution or cash handling role.
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Project a friendly, positive attitude through video interactions. Demonstrate positive facial expressions and posture. Excellent interpersonal and member/customer service skills. Ability to multitask effectively. Strong oral and written communication skills. Proficient in performing the roles of a Video Teller, Teller, or MSC phone agent. Willingness to learn and cross-sell credit union products and services. Excellent math ability and attention to detail. Comfortable working in a remote teller environment and maintaining professionalism through video.
  • Proficiency in using Symitar for posting teller transactions and inquiries on deposit and loan accounts.
  • Familiarity with Synapsys CRM for handling PSOs, creating events, and accessing My Sales reports.
  • PC proficiency.
  • Ability to lift 25 lbs.
  • Competence in using standard office equipment, including PCs, fax machines, copiers, and telephones.
  • Adaptability to function in a financial institution video and/or call center environment.

Employment Type: Full-Time. Onsite. Rotating Saturdays
