Current Need:

As a Sales Director within our Commercial Strategy and Innovation group, you'll play a pivotal role in driving new business opportunities across a diverse range of retail and digital pharmacies. Your primary responsibility will be to cultivate strategic relationships with key decision-makers, leveraging your expertise to understand their unique needs and challenges. By developing comprehensive account strategies and solutions, you'll contribute to our mission of improving healthcare delivery on a global scale.

This is a remote role with up to 50% territory travel (East Coast). Ideal candidate must reside within either the Eastern or Central Time Zone.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in complex, large-scale pharmacy environments.

  • Conduct thorough opportunity assessments and define tailored account strategies.

  • Cultivate high-level relationships with C-suite executives and departmental leaders.

  • Develop One McKesson account plans encompassing all customer needs.

  • Design innovative solutions and navigate the contracting process effectively.

  • Maintain accurate sales data for reporting purposes and track progress in Sales Management Tool.

  • Stay informed about industry trends, technical advancements, and customer needs to identify opportunities for value creation.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to capitalize on new business opportunities and drive organizational success.

  • Participate in sales presentations to enhance business growth opportunities and refine selling skills.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Degree or equivalent and typically requires 7+ years of new account sales experience.

Critical Skills:

  • 7+ years of experience in new account sales.

  • Proven track record of consistently driving new business growth.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage executive relationships effectively.

  • 7 years' experience selling SaaS services or pharmacy software applications.

  • Strong communication and influencing skills across all organizational levels.

Additional Skills:

  • Excellent communication and active listening abilities, with a knack for engaging stakeholders at various levels.

  • In-depth knowledge of healthcare stakeholders, trends, and policies.

  • Ability to navigate a large, matrixed organization with agility.

  • Experience in fostering diversity and inclusion within teams.

  • Proficiency in articulating the organization's value proposition and delivering results through strategic thinking.

  • Strong business acumen and financial understanding.

  • Proven success in driving change initiatives.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, with a focus on sales & marketing, strategic planning, or business management, or equivalent experience.

Physical Requirements

  • Work remotely from home office

  • Up to 50% territory travel.

This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. Our Total Target Cash (TTC) Pay Range for this position:

$162,500 - $270,900

Total Target Cash (TTC) is defined as base pay plus target incentive.
