Description
We are hiring a Senior Compensation Consultant to research, design, revise and implement broad-based global compensation programs in salaried compensation, hourly pay, variable compensation, and sales compensation for multiple different countries.

What You Will Be Doing:
You will be a subject matter expert in several areas of compensation and responsible for assigned client groups. You'll indirectly lead initiatives and teams and may lead large projects involving multiple people and processes with higher impact levels. You will engage with HR Business Partners and business leaders to diagnose compensation opportunities and provide guidance on applying Steelcase's compensation philosophy and principles to optimize the total reward program in support of the overarching company goals.

Your Future Team:
You will work with a dynamic global team consisting of compensation colleagues from various regions of the world and numerous departments throughout the organization.

Required Skills and Competencies:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent related experience
  • 4+ years of relevant experience (salaried, hourly/ mgf, variable compensation, incentive compensation, recognition & reward, total rewards, etc.)
  • Strong Consultative Skills
  • Highly Analytical
  • Strategic
  • Results-Oriented and driven
  • Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint
Preferred Skills and Competencies:
  • Familiarity with FLSA and other applicable employment laws and regulations
  • SAP HR or other HCM ERPs
  • Consulting firm experience
  • Multi-country compensation experience
This position can be remote for candidates that are located more than 50 miles from our Headquarters in Grand Rapids, MI.
