Summary:

In this role, you will provide strategic contracting and sourcing expertise for a diverse portfolio of acute and non-acute distribution service agreements. You will lead a team of portfolio executives and have responsibility for management and oversight of a prominent generic pharmaceutical product category. Additional duties include providing support for customized sourcing solutions and strategic program development.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and negotiate a prominent portfolio of pharmacy full-line and specialty distribution contracts.

  • Lead, support, and develop a team with dedicated portfolio and strategic relationship assignments.

  • Monitor contract performance and compliance.

  • Foster and support strong business relationships.

  • Collaborate with peers, senior leadership, and providers to ensure delivery of supply chain needs.

  • Execute evolving business strategies.

  • Interpret financial analysis and market dynamics to formulate contract strategy recommendations.

  • Effectively communicate and present successes, challenges, and opportunities to internal and external stakeholders, including directors of pharmacy and supply chain leaders.

  • Create and manage programs and resources to maximize contract compliance.

  • Manage category budgeting and forecasting.

  • Maintain current knowledge of relevant industry trends and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant degree preferred. A Master's in business or healthcare related field is a plus.

  • 7 or more years of relevant experience required.

  • Pharmacy distribution, sourcing and/or supply chain management experience is strongly preferred.

  • Exceptional leadership skills with a proven history of delivering results with a strong customer-centric mindset.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in both live and virtual settings, with ability to clearly articulate objectives and facilitate meaningful discussion.

  • Rigorous and strategic analytical agility with the ability to understand complex business issues and opportunities and exercise sound judgment.

  • Ability to effectively build relationships with a diverse set of stakeholders.

  • Experience in strategic contract development and execution is a plus.

  • Strong project management skills.

  • Willingness to travel.

Estimated Hiring Range:

$102,400.00 - $152,200.00
