Job Description:

We are looking for a candidate who has experience in a more professional atmosphere (business/office environment). While the candidate will be working in the warehouse, the environment is more business than warehouse atmosphere. They perform more asset management functions than warehousing, but applicant need skills in both areas in order to keep their program running smoothly. We are seeking a skilled professional.

The Warehouse Specialist may direct and coordinate the activities of other workers engaged in handling goods to be shipped or being received. Shipping duties typically involve the following, verifying that all orders are accurately filled by comparing items and quantities of goods gathered for shipment against documents. Ensuring that shipments are properly packaged, identified with shipping information, loaded into transporting vehicles, and preparing and keeping records of goods shipped. Receiving duties typically involve the following, verifying the correctness of incoming shipments by comparing items and quantities unloaded against bills of lading, invoices, manifests, storage receipts, or other records, checking for damaged goods, ensuring that goods are appropriately identified for routing to divisions within the establishment, and preparing and keeping records of goods received.
