Entry Level Expediter

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assists with the transportation of materials and supplies to various job sites.
  • Assists as assigned in the timely delivery of materials and supplies to support project schedules.
  • Communicates as assigned with suppliers and vendors to track and expedite orders.
  • Assists in inventory management and maintaining accurate records of materials.
  • Supports project teams with logistical needs and coordination as assigned.
  • Ensures proper handling and storage of materials as assigned.
  • Maintains a clean and organized work environment.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by supervisors.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • No prior experience necessary; on-the-job training will be provided.
  • Basic computer skills preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Ability to learn and understand supply chain processes and logistics.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) is a plus.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work under minimal supervision.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
  • Valid driver's license required.
Physical Demand:

Ability to stand, walk, sit, use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; operate office equipment; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, talk, and hear. Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Work Environment:
  • Work in a variety of environments, including office and warehouse settings.
  • Occasional travel to job sites may be required.
  • Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
