Operations Clerk provides clerical and administrative support to one of various Operations Support functions throughout the Operations Support Jurisdictional Departments. All other duties usually assigned this classification.
* Perform clerical work and related duties for any Operations Support Jurisdictional Department as assigned.
* Clerk will handle and process all internal customer requests by face-to-face meetings, correspondence, telephone, or other applicable technology.
* Responsible for clerical functions in all Operations Support utilizing computer programs (including but not limited to STORMS, PLM, ARCOS, PeopleSoft, PORD, Microsoft Office).
* Travel to other platforms to perform clerical work when the Company determines the need.
* Must be able to operate office equipment such as computer, calculator, copier/scanner/fax.
* Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
* Type approximately 25 words per minute.
* Must have the ability to converse intelligently in a pleasant, understandable, and helpful manner with department staff, internal and external customers.
* Must be a legible penman, proficient in filing and office procedures, and must be able to assume responsibilities for routine clerical work.
* Must have the ability to pass accepted clerical standard tests.
* Must have the ability to acquire a sufficient knowledge of Company policies and practices to prepare and maintain various forms, records and reports required in department.
Working Conditions / Physical Requirements:
* Employee may be required to work during heavy activity periods and emergency situations.
* Must possess and maintain valid driver's license with no restrictions on hours of operations.
