The Opportunity:

The Post Doctoral Scholar will advance the atomic-level understanding of kinetics in solid-solid phase transitions; Develop advanced machine learning methodsfor the fast prediction of materials properties;Publish results in peer-reviewed journals and present research findings at professional meetings; Co-advise graduate and undergraduate researchers as appropriate.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Ph.D. in Computational Materials Physics or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in machine learning, Python programming; first-principles studies of thermodynamics and defects in solids; experience in NEB calculations.
