Job Description

As the Maintenance Manager, your primary responsibility is to ensure the smooth operation of day-to-day activities at the site while aligning actions with the company's strategic objectives. Achieving these goals entails coordinating and supervising all maintenance tasks, including the management of maintenance technicians.

What You'll Do

  • Ensures that all maintenance operations are completed in accordance with company policy and OSHA guidelines.
  • Ensures the facility satisfies all industry regulations.
  • Schedules the workload and priorities for the maintenance technicians.
  • Forecasts, orders, and maintains spare parts inventory.
  • Develops, implements, and manages key performance indicators (KPIs) for each area of responsibility.
  • Sets department objectives/KPIs and reviews and assesses ongoing performance of direct reports.
  • Develops a Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule, ensures full preventative maintenance is carried out, plans in missed maintenance activities, and leads the team to deliver effectively coordinating the completion of complex repairs.
  • Oversees the entire disposal process of outdated machinery and equipment, from obtaining approval for write-off to physically removing and ensuring its safe and legal disposal.
  • Develops and maintains strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure optimal performance.
  • Identifies business improvement opportunities within the organization.
  • Participates in Safety Committee and contributes to safe practices and procedures

What You'll Bring

  • 10+ years' experience in a Maintenance Management role
  • Track record of applying engineering concepts, including mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
  • Proven ability in planning maintenance operations, including management and planning skills
  • Proficiency in monitoring and reporting on tracked activities
