What You Get to Do:

Responsible for Developing solution selling approach to Key Broadcast, enterprise and venue markets establish strategies and sales growth of all assigned products and services within assigned Key Account list.

  • Named account focus to map decision makers, assess sales potential, grow vertical markets for Panasonic solutions
  • Use consultative approach to identify sales prospects to meet quota
  • Meet or exceed assigned monthly, quarterly and annual quota for product and services along with achieving strategic goals and targets as assigned by sales management.
  • Develop and maintain annual strategic business plan for vertical accounts.
  • Interface and directly call on all stakeholders within assigned Key Accounts to create and drive Panasonic product and services adoption.
  • Cultivate new and strategic relationships within territory accounts collaborating with various Key Account teams to identify, recruit, build, and capitalize upon appropriate partnerships.
  • Become heavily engaged throughout focused named accounts for top to bottom Panasonic influence.
  • Work closely with Management, Territory Account Managers, Product Management, Engineering, and Operations to close business through direct to customer sales transaction.
  • Maintain competitive pricing database and track competitive pricing strategies.
  • Recommend price adjustments e.g. sell through allowances, instant rebates and other price moves.
  • Collaborate with industry partners to identify and qualify mutually rewarding sales activities, strategies, and business opportunities for incremental sales growth.
  • Facilitate appropriate technical and product training of all purchased products within Key Account.

Vertical Market Sales & Market Development

  • Develop and implement a strategic business plan for the assigned Vertical Markets Named account focus that outlines a clear vision of necessary actions to be taken to create demand and win business along with an overall segment market share increase.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert within the assigned Vertical Market and product categories with the different stakeholders within the company. Including sales, marketing, product management, engineering and factory.
  • Within assigned vertical, research, prospect, and facilitate to sales channel, new opportunities from both existing non-key strategic accounts and new unique vertical accounts.
  • Identify, subscribe to, and participate in vertical events trade shows associations and periodicals in order to market company product, solutions, and services capabilities.
  • Understand the industry landscape and collect, analyze and disseminate key market news, customer data, and competitive information in order to educate and provide market readiness to the sales team, product management as well as headquarters and factory management.

Vertical Market Strategic Marketing

  • Work with the appropriate marketing team members in the development and execution of vertical market messaging, strategies, promotions, and other tactics designed to generate market awareness for Panasonic, produce actionable leads, and grow the pipeline for the sales team.
  • Work with the marketing and product management teams to identify and develop beneficial resources of demand creation initiatives such as sales presentations, collateral pieces, promotions, ad campaigns, and social medial.
  • Coordinates strategic marketing activities, align resources, and implement initiatives to effectively promote Panasonic product and solutions to assigned vertical.

Administration

  • Effectively manage all administrative duties and reporting in timely manner.
  • Including but not exclusive to Salesforce customer, pipeline and opportunity data maintenance, sales forecasting, and Product Sales Inventory PSI.
  • Additional reporting on activities, vertical news, technology, information, solution development, and various headquarter requests.
  • Monitor and achieve all HQ required KGIs.
  • Manage and coordinate individual meetings, travel, & expenses.

What You'll Bring:

Education and Experience

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, Information Systems, or similar related field required.
  • 4 to 6 plus years experience of direct and indirect based business development and selling of visual communication products related to commercial grade Pro Video, Projection, and Display technologies and managed services.
  • Industry certifications preferred

  • Self-motivated, resilient, can do attitude to overcome obstacles and find resolution in sometimes difficult conditions.
  • Excellent judgment and be able to work in a challenging matrix management environment.
  • Able to navigate informal structures making work related contacts and collaborate with internal resources to accomplish company goals.
  • Strategic thinker who takes systematic approaches to solving problems to insure customer satisfaction and achieving company goals.
  • Understanding of pipeline management discipline.

Communications

  • Excellent communications skills both written and verbal required.
  • Strong team building, interpersonal and project management skills required.
  • Able to cultivate relationships of C-Level individuals within strategic, high-value end-user customers.
  • Passionate company advocate with ability to negotiate at all levels of customer engagement.
  • Must have the ability to explain complex systems in a simple and easy-to-understand manner.
  • Skilled presenter who is comfortable with one-on-one or large group audiences.

  • Working conditions, physical requirements, travel, etc.
  • Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • CRM software including customer contact, sales pipeline and opportunity data management Salesforce preferred.
  • Travel up to 75 percent of time, some weekend work, hours of work may vary due to business travel, customer availability and trade show involvement.
What We Offer:
The salary range of $65,000 -$95,000 is just one component of Panasonic's total package. Actual compensation varies depending on the individual's knowledge, skills, and experience. This role may be eligible for discretionary bonuses and incentives.
