Job Summary

Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Montana seeks an experienced Account Executive II with a focus on best-in-class account management. This position is responsible for ensuring continued and increased growth and retention by negotiating renewals, selling products and services to existing customers, and understanding customer needs while providing proactive customer education and support.
Some of the key attributes of the position are:

Demonstrated sales skills, including negotiations.
Data analysis for financial and clinical key findings.

Lead with focus on broker-partner alignment to meet the customers' goals.
Ability to facilitate industry expert interactions.


JOB REQUIREMENTS:
*Must have General Lines Agent - Life, Health, and HMO license or obtain General Lines Agent - Life, Health, and HMO license within required time frame per state regulations.
*2 years as a group health insurance account executive OR 6 years' experience in group health claims processing, customer service, claims-related, and/or sales and thorough knowledge of managed health care products (PPO, HMO) processes and trends OR Bachelor's degree and 3 years customer service/account management experience with thorough knowledge of managed health care products.
*2 years in a position which required decision making, initiative, and self-direction.
*Customer service oriented; detail oriented.
*Ability and willingness to travel including overnight stays.
*Experience addressing customer needs and building customer relations.
*Experience analyzing reports, determining product mix for customers, and analyzing financial information.
*Written and verbal communications skills, negotiation skills, and presentation skills.

PREFERRED JOB REQUIREMENTS:
*Bachelor's degree.
