Testing & Laboratory Manager

The work model for the role is: Onsite * Support the product development teams as the test expert, familiar with the test standards and the test equipment * Work with teams to develop detail test plans based on standards and R&D requirements * Set up test objects and equipment to safely execute high voltage and high current testing * Write and issue professional test reports detailing test results

• Bachelor degree in science or engineering (electrical preferred) PLUS minimum of 3 years experience
• Working knowledge of IEEE C57.13 and IEC 61869 standards
• Strong interpersonal skills required to achieve cooperation and reach agreement with internal and external customers and suppliers
• Experienced in planning and executing projects
• Must be self-motivated with a high level of creativity
• Strong ERP and computer skills required; experience with data acquisition hardware and software required
• Position requires <10% domestic and international travel
• Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
