Your Role With Us:The Coder I with Salem Health, is responsible for assigning codes to diagnoses, procedures and revenue codes utilizing ICD-10-CM and CPT coding systems.Primary Functions:Production: Assigns codes to the assigned department(s) records utilizing ICD-10-CM and CPT coding systems while maintaining a productivity rate of 192 per day in ancillary coding and 96 per day in Emergency Department Coding or Convenient Care Coding.Must maintain and sustain a 95% accuracy rate.Enters diagnoses, procedures and revenue codes in EPIC; adds Account Notes and updates ADT information in EPIC; manages assigned work queues in EPIC.
