Job Description

Veolia Water Technologies and Solutions is currently looking for a rotational engineer to join its Engineered Systems Services commercial team to be located in Norfolk, VA as part of the company's Graduate Rotation Program (GRP). In this role, you will have the opportunity to be able to enhance and apply your learnings from a technical perspective whilst also exploring the sales/commercial aspect that organizations navigate day after day. This is an entry level role within the commercial sales function.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with assigned team to provide commercial support with applications and mobile and long-term projects

  • Work with our service centers and field service organizations to learn how we work and what we do

  • Work with current customers and prospects to meet desired service needs

  • Serve as an intermediary for solutions detailed understanding of customer's business model and how our services develop and deliver added value to the customer

  • Build customer relationships and communication at all levels

  • Participate, learn, and develop technical and commercial skills as you progress through the program

  • Reinforce the company's culture, vision and values of collaboration, inclusiveness, diversity, integrity, quality and safety at all levels

  • Work with internal teams, mentors, and coached to prepare for your future as a sales professional within the organization

Qualifications

Core Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Chemical/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering Degree or closely related discipline


Other Useful Skills and Abilities:

  • Comfortable with utilizing programs such as Sales Force

  • Ability and willingness to travel within territory, as required

  • Ability and willingness to reside in assigned region or within customer proximity requirements, as required

  • Strong oral and written communication skills

  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills

  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment requiring ability to multi-task and flex within changing priorities
