HCM Data Specialist



The HCM Solutions Team plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our human resources operations for the University of Pittsburgh. This position will directly support this team by managing critical HR data and processes, contributing to the efficiency and accuracy of our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

* Data Management: Oversee the end-to-end process of HR and Payroll-related data management, including but not limited to data entry, validation, and maintenance for staff, union members, temporary workers, and students.

* Integration Oversight: Identify and address integration errors and warnings, ensuring accuracy across a variety of actions including new hires, rehires, and transfers.

* Employment Verifications: Process employment verifications promptly, adhering to established protocols and compliance standards.

* Collaborative Problem-Solving: Work closely with the Office of Human Resources, responsibility centers, and departmental partners to resolve HR and Payroll-related issues and provide valuable resources and support as needed.


Qualifications:

* Proficiency in data entry and manipulation, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.

* Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with a sense of urgency and adaptability to changing priorities.

* Excellent communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationships.

A High School Diploma or GED is required for this position and a Bachelor's degree is preferred.
