Are you passionate about Machine Learning and Computer Vision? Our Retail Engineering Apps team is looking for someone who is ready to push the boundaries of what's possible in Apple Retail experiences. Join our team of driven and dedicated Machine Learning engineers in the Retail Apps Engineering team. We build software and hardware solutions that power the worldwide fleet of Apple Retail locations. In this role, you will utilizing Machine Learning and Computer Vision to develop the next generation of cutting-edge products to support our Apple Retail locations.

Description

Design, develop, Implement and improve machine learning models and software for Apple Retail stores using state-of-the-art technologies with hyper-parameter optimization algorithms. Lead a team of analysts to build a monitoring pipeline for 500+ Apple store telemetry and analytics. Provide detailed analysis and insights to identify trends and opportunities to drive improvements in core KPIs. Help on-boarding team members to facilitate an easy transition into the team and speed up the initial development phase.
  • A background in computer science, engineering, data science, applied mathematics, or equivalent.
  • Knowledgeable with an object-oriented programming language, such as Python, Swift, Objective C or Java.
  • Hands-on experience with ML libraries like TensorFlow, PyTorch, CoreFlow, Sklearn, etc.
  • Strong mathematical skills in linear algebra and statistics.
  • Bachelor and/or MS in Computer Science, Data Analytics, or comparable degree


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with integrating research prototypes into production applications.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative environment.
  • Practical knowledge of building and adapting algorithms for machine learning, computer vision, or related areas.
