As our Southeastern Region Apprenticeship and Training Representative, you will carry out fieldwork throughout your assigned area to facilitate the expansion and development of apprenticeship opportunities. This includes meeting with existing and potential apprenticeship sponsors and contacts, determining the best methods of recruitment to include underutilized populations, and making oral presentations to statewide and local audiences concerned with economic development and the expansion of apprenticeship opportunities.
You will provide technical assistance for programs to effectively launch, maintain, build capacity, and enhance programming as well as make recommendations which conform to Pennsylvania and federal standards. Through your strategic collaboration with workforce and education partners, the apprenticeship and pre-apprenticeship programs within our state will provide a wide diversity of skilled occupations in all sectors.
