Job Description

* Applications are accepted electronically ONLY at www.cu.edu/cu-careers *

This position is term-limited up to 2 years from hire date.

The Center for Identity & Inclusion (formerly known as Educational Opportunity Programs) was established in 1969. Comprised of six primary programs, the Center for Identity & Inclusion (CII) provides historically marginalized and traditionally underserved student groups with the essential tools, academic resources and opportunities to succeed at the University of Colorado Denver (CU Denver).

The six primary programs are: American Indian Student Services, Asian American Student Services, Black Student Services, Latinx Student Services, Undocumented Student Resources, and the Women & Gender Student Services. Furthermore, we acknowledge, support and embrace intersectionality and our aim is to bridge identity groups across acknowledged lines of difference. Each program offers a variety of services that are geared toward a specific affinity group; however, all our services, programs and events are open and available to all CU Denver students.

The Undocumented Student Resource Coordinator (USRC) is a vital member of CII and is responsible for planning, implementing, communicating, and evaluating various initiatives, activities, and projects designed to increase the success of CU Denver's undocumented, refugee, and asylee student populations. In collaboration with campus partners, the USRC provides guidance and leadership to foster a safe and equitable learning environment that supports the enrollment, retention, and graduation of undocumented students. The USRC also works closely with campus departments and community organizations to advance the knowledge of and raise awareness about CU Denver's diverse undocumented student community by developing and implementing educational programs and trainings specific to the undocumented student population utilizing feedback, research, and data analytics.

Moreover, the USRC builds and maintains partnerships with on- and off-campus resources to expand current services. This position will periodically advise campus leaders on a wide range of issues impacting the academic success of undocumented students, including the complex and rapidly changing landscape of immigration policies.
