Production Supervisor

Job Description
We are hiring top talent with just the right skills and experience to work as 2nd Shift Production Supervisor to independently supervise assigned manufacturing work areas to achieve group objectives with regard to safety, quality, continuous improvement, schedule, cost, training, and a positive working environment.
Are You Looking to
- Apply knowledge of manufacturing methods, materials, processes or systems and skills to improve performance, quality and timeliness, to make thoughtful decisions and to solve problems, using good judgment.
- Recruit, mentor and motivate personnel in order to balance staffing strength with profitability and growth, and to organize, plan, delegate and prioritize work.
- Plan daily work assignments and periodic rotations for assigned employees to meet objectives.
Are You Ready to
- Track and reports on production, ship schedules, Work-in-Process, labor and product movement.
- Continually monitor manufacturing methods, processes and procedures to ensure departmental goals are met while maintaining or improving cost competitiveness, which includes identifying, recommending, and implementing necessary improvements.
- Follow and continually monitor safety procedures.
Job Requirements:
What You'll Need
- Bachelor's degree in a business, engineering or related discipline, preferred.
- Bilingual - English and Spanish
- 2-5 years relevant manufacturing experience in a leadership role.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project.
- Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident.
