CHA Consulting, Inc. is currently seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join our Asset Management Team at our Norwell, MA office location or remotely from home. This is a part-time position.

The Senior Data Analyst will be proficient in SQL and Oracle scripting, possess advanced data analysis skills, and have experience in PowerBI reporting. Additionally, expertise in Python scripting, familiarity with ArcGIS and geospatial data sets, as well as a strong understanding of linear referenced pipeline data, are highly desirable. The Senior Data Analyst will play a critical role in analyzing complex datasets, providing valuable insights, and developing innovative solutions to enhance business processes. The Senior Data Analyst will engage in a variety of projects as needed to meet client requirements while collaborating with project managers, clients, and colleagues.

Responsibilities include:

    Gather and translate user requirements.
  • Develop and optimize SQL and Oracle scripts to extract, transform, and manipulate data from various databases efficiently.
  • Design, develop, and maintain interactive and visually appealing reports and dashboards using PowerBI to present insights and key metrics to stakeholders.
  • Utilize Python scripting for data manipulation, automation, and statistical analysis to support decision-making processes.
  • Apply knowledge of ArcGIS and geospatial data sets to analyze spatial data, perform spatial queries, and generate maps for visualization.
  • Leverage expertise in linear referenced pipeline data to perform data validation and quality assurance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data engineers, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver actionable insights.
  • Document data analysis processes, methodologies, and findings to ensure transparency, reproducibility, and knowledge sharing.
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies, tools, and techniques in data analysis and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or equivalent experience is preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Data Analyst or similar role, with a minimum of seven (7) years professional experience migrating or analyzing data in relational and/or spatial databases is required.
  • Proficiency in SQL and Oracle scripting with a strong understanding of database concepts and data modeling.
  • Hands-on experience with PowerBI for creating reports and dashboards preferred.
  • Advanced skills in Python scripting for data manipulation and analysis.
  • Familiarity with Esri technology, ArcGIS Pro and geospatial data analysis techniques.
  • Knowledge of linear referenced pipeline data and related tools is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to present complex ideas in a clear and concise manner.
  • Proven track record of working effectively in a collaborative team environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload to meet deadlines.
SALARY RANGE:

$77,000 - $96,000

Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
