Job Purpose
Business development, technical sales and customer service role with the objective of developing relationships within Defense sector to open doors to new business opportunities for backplane assembly and system integration. Must have a broad understanding of the VPX ecosystem, understand customer needs, and can creatively leverage Sanmina's internal resources to identify and facilitate solutions for these customers.
Nature of Duties/Responsibilities
Develop Key Accounts
Manage existing customers
Ensure customer expectations are clearly understood, communicated and met
Sanmina's operations teams and the customer's teams are well coordinated
Insure the best business practices are applied to benefit our customers
Drive communication with existing customers, participate in QBRs, develop customer strategies, and solve problems
Develop and strengthen relationships with all levels of customer management
Identify and implement opportunities to improve service and grow revenue
Work with the customer for timely payments, work through E&O issues, and other out of scope charges/costs
Develop relationships with customer engineering teams to learn of new opportunities
Expand Sanmina's market share with existing customers
Drive Growth with New Customers
Accountable for meeting and exceeding sales revenue targets
Be familiar with the Defense market, customers and opportunities
Develop a professional network to help provide identify and pursue opportunities
Target customers, develop relationships, assess opportunities and win new business
Work with Quote teams to coordinate quotation activity on new business opportunities
Support preparation of proposals, meetings and other activities targeted at customer opportunities
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree
10-15 years Sales Experience with strong knowledge of Defense industry and backplane / electro-mechanical integration
Strong Knowledge of Backplane technologies and open standards
Significant experience in Backplane / system integration is essential, with understanding of costing & pricing.
Highly motivated with entrepreneurial attitude and outlook, strong work ethics with high level of integrity
Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation and interpersonal skills
Excellent MS Office skills
Experience working with vast remote cross-functional teams in large matrix organizations
Strong project manager with excellent ability to prioritize, multitask and organize

Salary Range(annual): $100,000 - $150,000
