Flight Data Analyst

The Opportunity:
As data analyst, you love diving into data and turning it into meaningful insights. With the abundance of structured and unstructured data, you understand the importance of transforming complex data sets into useful information to solve challenges. As a data analyst at Booz Allen, you can use your skills and experience to support a mission and use data for good.

As a client-facing data analyst on our defense team, you'll work closely with your clients to understand their questions and needs and then dig into their data-rich environments to find the pieces of their information puzzle. Not only will you provide a deep understanding of their data, you'll also advise your client on what the information means and how it can be used to make an impact within the DoD.

Work with us to drive large-scale business and process decisions through data insights.

Join us. The world can't wait.

You Have:

  • Experience in conducting an on-going assessment of automated equipment, equipment locations, use, costs, and acquisition to define opportunities for new or improved business processes solutions
  • Experience in utilizing data architecture and modeling as the framework for organizing and defining the interrelationships of data in support of the mission, goals, objectives, and strategies, and analyzing the use of archived data to optimize the use of existing database programs
  • Experience in multiple Range systems and Open-Air Real-Time tracking programs, and coordinating with multiple agencies for real-time troubleshooting and correction of deficiencies during high-cost missions
  • Experience in coordinating specific test requirements with agencies to collect Time Space Position Information (TSPI) to facilitate post-mission merge
  • Knowledge of the Air-to-Air Infrastructure (AARI) Instrumentation Ground Station and the Nellis Air Combat Training System (NACTS)
  • Ability to perform testing, troubleshoots, and corrections on problems for interface and interoperability of system components such as hardware, systems software, and applications programs
  • Ability to apply statistical and evaluative methodologies of security, reliability, and utilization of legacy systems used by the organization to determine if organizational needs can be more readily met by enhancing existing assets or if a replacement is more cost-effective
  • Secret clearance
  • HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:

  • Top Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
