Job Summary:

The Wisconsin School of Business (WSB) offers several graduate degree options. Within the MBA and Master's Admissions and Recruitment team, we oversee the recruitment for three of our MBA programs, (Full-time, Professional and Executive) and five of our one-year master's programs (accounting and business analysis, arts and creative enterprise leadership, business analytics, real estate, and supply chain management). This position will report to the director of MBA and Master's admissions and recruitment and will have primary support responsibilities for all our MBA and Master's programs. This role will also support the MBA and Master's teams by working directly with the two associate directors.

The MBA and Master's recruitment coordinator will support the team by coordinating and managing social media, email communication, and offering marketing/recruiting support. This role will also manage the visitor program, travel stipends, and support other in-person and virtual events.

A person in this role should be detail-oriented, have strong written communication skills, demonstrative creativity and willing to create change.

Principal Duties:
- Recruitment Support - 50%
- Manage the visitor program, travel stipends and hotel registration.
- Assist with event planning from scheduling, managing registration and promotion.
- Support recruitment activities by ensuring materials are at events.

- Marketing Support - 45%
- Develop content and post on the various social media channels.
- Manage website review and ensure accurate content on all MBA and Master's pages.
- Create emails and newsletters for the various programs.
- Design marketing support materials such as postcards and flyers.

- Collaborate and support other members in the unit, or school-wide - 5%

This position may require working some nights and weekends. This position will have a blend of working in the WSB and remote work. Candidates will need to reside in the state of Wisconsin.

Responsibilities: Assists with the planning, development, coordination, management, and execution of the recruitment and admissions process in alignment with the institution's strategic goals. Represents the institution to prospective students with a goal of attracting, admitting, and enrolling a talented, diverse student body.
  • 5% Counsels prospective and admitted students on educational planning and career opportunities
  • 10% Reviews, evaluates, and responds to student applications according to established policies and procedures
  • 20% Schedules logistics, secures resources, and attend events to promote the Institution
  • 20% Creates targeted communication plans and materials based on established goals
  • 15% Delivers directed admissions program messaging to internal and external audiences
  • 15% Identifies, promotes, and maintains internal and external partnerships focusing on outreach, recruitment, and admission
  • 15% Engages in extensive outreach and recruitment events, representing the university to prospective students

Work Schedule:

This position is expected to work from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm or 8:30 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday; some evening hours may be required.

This position may require some work to be performed in-person, onsite, at a designated campus work location. Some work may be performed remotely, at an offsite, non-campus work location.
