What You'll do:

Groundswell is seeking to hire a Product Manager Lead to join our team in developing technology-driven products as necessitated by our government contracts. This role requires a relentless individual who focuses on delivering value to our partners by delivering what is right and seeking to continuously improve, learn, and grow every day. We are seeking someone who can deliver flexible, user-centered, and outcome-focused value to our customers. The Product Manager Lead role at Groundswell is seeking individuals who:

  • Develop and Champion Product Vision & Strategy: Drive the creation of a long-term vision and comprehensive strategy for our product portfolio.

  • Communicate & Secure Stakeholder Alignment: Articulate the product vision and strategy compellingly to stakeholders across all levels, fostering alignment and buy-in.

Specifically, individuals in this leadership role should be able to be transparent about the roadmap and the prioritization process:

  • Foster Transparency: Ensure clear communication of the product roadmap and prioritization process to the entire team.

  • Empower Prioritization: Equip the team to make strategic decisions by guiding saying "no" to requests, when necessary, while balancing user and stakeholder needs.

  • Drive Forward Momentum: Lead the team in consistently and confidently executing the product strategy and vision, keeping a future-oriented perspective.

  • Collaborative Leadership: Spearheaded the execution of the product strategy, vision, and tactics through collaboration with the team and external stakeholders.

  • Build Consensus: Guide the team and external stakeholders towards a unified path forward for the product through effective facilitation and discussion.

Communicates clearly in an evidence-based fashion:

  • Leverage Collective Insights: Lead the team in utilizing data, customer feedback, and metrics to inform roadmaps and critical decisions.

  • Foster Collaboration Across Teams: Engage daily with team leads and shared services, gathering input and fostering a collaborative environment for shaping the best path forward.

  • Bridge the Gap: Champion a digital services delivery methodology by effectively communicating with engineering, design, and program management teams.

  • Empower Problem-solving: Equip the team to identify roadblocks hindering strategic or technical goals. Communicate these challenges to managers and partners to develop solutions together.

Most candidates will have the following qualifications:

  • 5+ years in a Product Management or other product leadership role;

  • 3+ years of experience with leading people and teams;

  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related field;

  • MBA a plus

The salary range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted forany applicable geographicdifferential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Groundswell, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is:

$84,518.00 - $179,207.00
