Work with the best! Per Mar Security, an industry leader in providing integrated security solutions, is seeking hardworking motivated people. We are looking for a motivated, friendly and efficient Security Officer to join our team!
Per Mar Security Services has been a family owned and operated, full-service security company since its inception in 1953. We provide security officer, electronic security, fire alarm and background and investigative services, serving customers in multiple states throughout the Midwest region.
We are looking for "AS NEEDED" Officers, to work at a variety of sites on an on-call basis. Officers will fill in for temporary jobs, open positions, call-offs, vacations, events, etc.
**Most open shifts will be during evening hours such as 2nd or 3rd shift and weekends, when a security presence is highly desired.**

Pay: $16.00 to $17.50 per hour
Shift: Varies
Hours per week: Vary depending on the need and your availability
This is an as needed position, the more you are available to pick up shifts, the more hours you will work and can be full time if your availability allows that.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules
- Thoroughly examine doors, windows, and gates to ensure proper function and security
- Warn violators of premise rules and regulations
- Address persons engaging in suspicious or criminal acts
- Report any facility issues
- Request emergency personnel for high risk situations
Qualifications:
- 18 years of age or older
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Must be willing to participate in the Company's pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
