WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR: Fors Marsh is seeking an intelligent and motivated research analyst to join ourMilitary Workplace Climate Research team. This individual will work in a researcher role on quantitative and qualitative research activities and providing support in the development, execution, and analysis of large-scale surveys for the Department of Defense focused on measuring military workplace climate. This job is best suited for an individual who enjoys research, possesses excellent attention to detail, continuously strives to learn and develop, and prefers working in a cooperative environment.
Responsibilities include:
*Assist with the development, implementation, and analysis of large-scale tracking surveys examining topics such as workplace climate, organizational leadership, gender discrimination, ethnic/racial discrimination/harassment, sexual harassment and sexual assault in the military.
*Work with datasets (e.g., run frequencies, compute means), manage datasets, and assist in data cleaning.
*Conduct quality control checks through the survey lifecycle.
*Conduct univariate and multivariate analyses to support a variety of research projects.
*Code qualitative data collected from focus groups, in-depth interviews, and cognitive interviews.
*Prepare written reports and professional briefings that summarize research findings.
*Work under tight deadlines to fulfill client requests.
Qualifications:
*Bachelor's degree in social science, statistics or related field required.
*One year of academic or professional research experience required.
*Effective verbal and written communication skills.
*Ability to work independently without close supervision and as a team member.
*Experience working with data in Microsoft Excel and at least one statistical analysis software package (e.g., SPSS, STATA, SAS, R).
*Experience using Microsoft PowerPoint to create presentation slides.
*Strong quantitative ability and a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
*Applicants may be subject to a low-level government security investigation and must meet eligibility criteria for access to sensitive information;
*Must be a U.S. Citizen and consent to a full background check due to our federal contract requirements.
