Division: Commercial Department: Commercial Products Reports to: VP, Cash Management Operations Manager Status: Exempt/Officer Grade: 9 Pay Range: $52,000 - $87,568 Actual compensation within the pay range will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, skills, prior relevant experience, and specific work location. Location: Hybrid within MA, CT, NY, VT, RI Purpose/Objective: The Cash Management Support Officer (CMSSO) supports the daily needs of the commercial, small business and retail cash management customers. CMSSO provides an unprecedented level of superior customer service, support and customer resolution for all cash management client needs. Recommends effective strategies and identifies cross selling opportunities to existing clients. Performs some daily cash management operational tasks for the client. Works with other members of the cash management team, commercial lending, business banking, small business and branch staff to provide quality customer service to ensure banking needs are met and relationships are being developed and solidified, thus providing the customer with a great overall experience. The CMSSO prepares agreements, contracts and set up forms for cash management clients. Assists in preparing RFPs and customer proposals as needed. Is responsible for a successful and seamless implementation of all cash management services. The CMSSO is responsible for the operational set up of analysis accounts, credit and other sweeps (if necessary) zero balance accounts. The CMSSO is the Subject Matter Expert (SME) on XAA. The CMSSO backs up the Cash Management Administrator(s) with the account opening process (when necessary), as well as assisting the VP-Cash Management Operations Officer as needed. The CMSSO is responsible for assisting managing director of cash management with special projects as needed. Key Accountabilities: * Provides a superior level of customer service for all type of cash management needs consisting of business sweep, ACH origination, electronic wires, internet banking, account transfers, merchant services, lockbox and all other types of services. Provides account opening services and account maintenance for our ABL customers and in the regions where we do not have a branch presence. Sets up sweep services and accounts for analysis. Is the SME for XAA. 55% * Prepares all necessary agreements/forms associated with a new set up for cash management. Obtains agreements, reviews and submits or implements new services from cradle to grave. 25% * Joint calls are arranged with the commercial lender, small business lender or branch manager and a CM Sales Officer when appropriate. Responds to RFP, creates pro-forma and makes recommendations to the client for cash management solutions. Works directly with all CM Sales Officers and may assist with the account opening process when needed. 10% * The CMSSO will be responsible for assisting managing director of cash management with special projects as needed. 10% * Ensures compliance with all banking laws, rules, regulations, and prescribed policies/practices/procedures necessary to reduce risk and uphold ethical standards related to and required by one's duties. Education: * BA degree in business administration preferred or equivalent work experience.
