Fossil Group is looking for an innovative, enthusiastic and driven Public Relations Manager to join our Owned and Portfolio Brands Team and support the brand strategy for FOSSIL, Michele, and Zodiac. The right candidate will be a passionate storyteller with a tenacious spirit and thoughtful mindset towards media relations. This role will report into the Global Director of PR. You will play an integral part in creating and implementing programs that drive relevancy and culture initiatives, deliver meaningful press exposure, and bring to life compelling creative ideas.

What You'll Do

  • Develop strategy and plans to build brand awareness and differentiate in market
  • Help develop Global PR Strategy and guidance for all regional teams across Fossil Group's portfolio of owned and licensed brands
  • Brief agency on objectives and launches to craft a strong and differentiated PR strategy
  • Brief regional PR teams on recommended Global PR Strategy guidance & provide feedback on regional plans presented
  • Execute North America public relations and culture objectives alongside agency partners which may include event planning, VIP seedings and outreach, stunt ideation, etc.
  • Help activate exciting and impactful Press, Influencer and VIP events to drive brand awareness and growth
  • Update Global seasonal playbooks, GTMs, and marketing documents (global Integrated Marketing requests for SteerCo, QMR, etc.)
Develop/project manage global press assets (all mainline & collaborations)
  • Map out asset needs for all brands by season (timelines, etc.)-including but not limited to:
  • Press releases
  • Sample inventory management
  • Seasonal press kits
  • Dedicated hot sheets
  • Unboxing seedings (requires additional coordination with Social/Influencer team)
  • Event collateral
Day to day agency and team management
  • Oversee agency weekly meetings, agendas, recaps and editorial samples
  • Provide details and information to the agency for press releases, including drafting ELT quotes, etc.
  • Media & social monitoring and track commissionable links & provide feedback/results
  • Manage department budget and reconciliation

Your Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in Social Media, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or other related field is highly desired
  • 5+ years of professional experience in public relations, editor and media relations
  • Ability to multi-task prioritize projects and collaborate with other team members is a must
  • Strongly connected to of-the-moment culture, trends, brand tactics
  • A confident communicator and presenter
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills
  • Must have strong attention to detail
  • Knowledge of Fashion, Trade and Business editorial press a must
  • Experience or personal interest in watches is preferred

The pay range for this role is $85,000 - $95,000. The actual salary offered will take into account a wide range of factors, including skills, experience and location.
