Job Description

Job Summary

Perform data entry functions utilizing on-line work stations. Provide flight data reduction processing using a variety of computer programs to extract data products, check output of flight data products to ensure accuracy; sort, address and distribute reports, and documents; prepare special reports; perform the a spectrum of information handling support services including (but not limited to ) filing, logging, verifying, sorting duplications, distribution, and tracking.

Support the receipt, logging, storing, sorting and distribution of all media products including (but not limited to) Digital flight tapes, Video flight tapes, TSPI data, Removable Disk Drives. In performance of these duties, required to walk various distances throughout the RCC complex.

Shall have a thorough working knowledge of both manual and automated information systems/data processing. Computer Operators require good communications skills and the ability to work in a team environment.

They support other systems, software and data processing functions as necessary including (but not limited to) Macintosh Computers, Personal Computers, VAX/ALPHA UNIX and VMS Computer Systems.

Support the duplication of all requested video flight tapes. Data Management Technicians require a thorough understanding of current security requirements.

Requirements

* Proficient in Microsoft Office/Microsoft Teams/Outlook. Basic to advanced computer navigational skills.

* Ability to transcribe spoken word verbatim using the appropriate software.

* Ability to review, understand, transfer and process technical data from range events.

* Ability to communicate at a professional level with teammates via email, phone or in person.

* Complete work error free and grammatically correct.

* Willingness to work overtime throughout the week and weekends.

* Willingness to sit for long hours in a face paced environment.

* Detail oriented with the ability to problem solve, use reference material and take direction.

* Ability to manage time and work in a fast paced technical environment.

High School Diploma Required.

Ability to obtain and maintain Security Clearance.
