Acara Solutions is seeking highly qualified candidates to work Hybrid with our client in Grand Prairie, TX. Interested?


Here's what you'd do:

  • The program focuses on the design, build, and test of a demonstration missile as well as the development of a tactical/objective missile design.
  • The successful candidate must demonstrate highly innovative approaches to resolve difficult design issues and will be responsible for the creation of detailed component and subsystem concept designs and mature those designs for release.
  • The candidate will be responsible for packaging design and negotiating interfaces and connector requirements with the program IPT structure and with external suppliers.
  • The successful candidate will help guide in determining the appropriate actions needed to support customer needs and contract requirements for packaging and design for compliance with client manufacturing standards.
  • Responsibilities will include working within the Electrical Engineering team and cross-functional teams to effectively address integration and interface challenges faced during production.
  • Help evaluate/troubleshoot and provide technical direction for failure investigations.
  • Willing to interface with internal teams, suppliers, and the customer.

Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum of 6 years experience with Circuit Card design and analysis using LTSpice or simulation tool
  • Minimum of 6 years experience with schematic circuit design tools like Siemen (Mentor Graphic) Xpeditions
  • Minimum of 6 years experience with Analog and digital circuit design and integration experiences
  • Minimum of 6 years experience with troubleshooting electronics including failure investigation
  • Minimum of 6 years experience with Electrical
  • Minimum of 6 years experience with Hardware Integration and Read Electrical Schematics

Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Candidates must be willing to learn the launcher system and how it interacts with the missile and test equipment.
  • Candidate must be self-motivating, team-oriented, and capable of working with minimal direction.

Additional Information:

  • Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen
  • Active secret DoD clearance.
