As part of a small, passionate, and accomplished team of experts, you will push the boundaries of what's possible in facilities management and operations as a visionary and hands-on leader supporting rocket engine testing. You will contribute substantively to the team's impact on all aspects of building operation and maintenance. This position will directly impact the history of space exploration, requiring your dedicated commitment and detailed attention towards safe and repeatable spaceflight.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for maintenance and operations of facilities and infrastructure at a Rocket Engine Test Facility.
  • Develop and execute facility maintenance plans to include preventive and corrective maintenance using enterprise asset management tools.
  • Provide regular cost analysis and cost management for maintenance and operations of facilities and infrastructure including annual budgets for enterprise-wide facilities planning.
  • Oversees daily operations of the physical infrastructure and direct the administrative operations, facilities staff, and contractors.
  • Coordinate with local site leadership and other external stakeholders on priorities, strategy, and operational execution.
  • Develop and implement strategies for space management to meet current and future needs.
  • Works closely with the Security organization to secure information and assets.
  • Lead and/or participate in continuous improvement initiatives--adept at constructability analysis and value engineering to maximize customer value.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of management and leadership experience in facilities operations and maintenance.
  • Highly self-motivated, organized, and capable of planning and guiding complex technical work.
  • Must be skilled at change management (scope and cost changes) and familiar with review of plans, specifications, proposals, change orders, schedules, and request for information.
  • Recent and relevant experience in facility project management and team leadership skills
  • Extensive background in facility operations and facility maintenance
  • Technically competent with the ability to troubleshoot electrical, mechanical and HVAC systems.
  • Strong bias for action and a proven track record for delivering results while working with a small team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience developing Statements of Work (SOWs) and managing contractors.
  • Strong organizational skills and communication (oral and written)
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

Desired

  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, construction management, or related field.Or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
  • In Depth experience with CMMS and BMS systems. Maximo experience a plus.
