Job Summary:

The Master Data Analyst is part of the Master Data Group which maintains customer, vendor, material related information in SAP in a consistent and standard process. This position is required to work with share point forms requested/created by Applications, CSR, Salesman and Marketing. The Master Data Analyst is part of a global team that controls the consistent entry of data for customer, vendor, material and PIR/Source List master data according to global standard rules.

Safety and Procedures:

  • Follow all publicized safety policies/procedures and JIBS applicable to the job.
  • Use appropriate PPE that has been identified on the Hazard Analysis for the department/role.
  • Attend and participate in all safety training, safety meetings, audits and Behavior Based Safety programs assigned.
  • Report all safety hazards observed. If capable, correct the safety hazard identified.

Essential Job Functions:

  • SAP functions
  • Review request forms and enter information in SAP including; Customer, Vendor, PIR, Source list, Material Master
  • Work with Accounting, Marketing, Technical, CSR, Procurement to ensure all information is correct
  • Follow standard procedures and work flow requirements (approvals)
  • Act has a backup for other locations globally
  • Assist and help the business with issues related to Master Data to be sure data is displayed correctly in CIS and other systems
  • Run Mass Change tool extract and change data
  • Reads, understands and is committed to conducting business in accordance to Albany International's Business Ethics Policy. All business of the company should, at all times, be conducted ethically, fairly, honestly and with integrity.

Education Requirements:

  • College Diploma required, associate degree accepted.
