Job Details:

General Notes
  • This is a part-time, non-benefits eligible position which will end May 31, 2025.

  • Must be available for travel and evening presentations.

  • Hiring for multiple regions - Houston, El Paso, Rio Grande Valley (RGV), Dallas/Fort Worth, and San Antonio.

Purpose

OnRamps leadership aims to support district partners with consistent communication to community members, students, and staff about the quality of OnRamps and our mission, attributes of implementation, and benefits for students and staff. This position will meet the needs of supporting districts with community events across the state and will report to the Manager of Partnership Development.

Responsibilities
  • Attends scheduled compliance training, orientation training and calibration sessions that will equip Ambassadors with the information and expectations for executing quality engagement events.

  • Presents OnRamps information to students, parents, and community members in an in person setting for up to ten events per year.

  • Represents and communicates OnRamps information in a professional and ethical manner with accuracy and fidelity.

  • Provides accurate information and answers questions from stakeholders at district events.

  • Collaborates with the Manager of Partnership Development for interim calibration and to complete reporting before and after each event.

  • Maintains accurate materials/assets inventory and submits timely requests for event materials as needed.

Required Qualifications
  • Employed by a district implementing OnRamps during the 2024-2025 academic year.

  • Employees who have worked in a Counseling, Administrative, or Administrative Intern role at a school(s) that has partnered with OnRamps for at least one year.

  • Complete a 2024-2025 OnRamps Ambassador Application.

  • Must be able to travel to in-person events in within regions 1-4, 10-13, 16, 19 and 20 depending on designated service location.

  • Must be available for evening presentations scheduled in advance.

  • Collaborates with the Manager of Partnership Development for interim calibration and to complete reporting before and after each event.

  • Maintains accurate materials/assets inventory and submits timely requests for event materials as needed.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bilingual (Spanish)

Salary

$40.00 hourly

Working Conditions
  • Must be able to work evenings.

  • Must be able to travel.

  • Hours vary. Some weeks will only require one presentation while peak seasons will require 2 or more.

  • Peak times occur in September, February and mid-March.

  • Typical workload will be 15 hours a month, but peak season could require 20-25 hours a month.

  • Must have a designated space equipped with technology and internet capabilities that supports virtual collaboration via Zoom in a professional manner.

Employment Eligibility:
