Job Description

The Marketing Automation Lead is a highly motivated, analytical individual with proven skills in the areas of planning, managing and executing marketing campaigns via the Eloqua Marketing Automation Platform. This individual has hands on experience setting up complex campaigns integrated with other channels/systems and has a deep understanding of data management and segmentation. They have a track record of working with clients to provide marketing automation expertise, such as best practices in creating email templates, developing forms and landing pages, configuring cloud connectors and setting up complex dynamic content and campaign workflow logic. The MA Lead has a strong sense of project management and a drive to meet project deadlines.

PRIMARY DAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIES

* Operate as a subject matter expert supporting the team in specific areas such as training, documenting processes and providing industry best practices.

* Assist in executing simple and complex lead nurturing programs in marketing automation platforms - helping clients understand requirements and proactively providing feedback to optimize campaign process and performance.

* Communicate with clients on a daily basis - providing project updates, troubleshooting issues, and educating on MAP capabilities.

* Act as a point of escalation and resolution during campaign process as it relates to decisions that directly impact execution and integration of marketing tools.

* Be a subject matter expert on marketing automation, providing industry research and recommendations to internal and client teams - approach, strategy, risks and best practices.

* Troubleshoot and resolve issues with configuration and integration including email and landing page HTML, audience segmentation, custom data object (CDO) management and reporting.

* Perform QA testing both before and after key project deliverables are deployed. Support QA team with issue resolution and ensure QA issues are within acceptable ranges.

* Help document processes and procedures for internal and client teams.

* Troubleshoot and resolve issues with configuration and integration.

FUNCTIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

* Eloqua expert with 3+ years of experience. Must have a deep knowledge of the Marketing Automation Platform, especially in terms of Omnichannel execution best practices.

* Intermediate HTML skills at minimum.

* Experience with reporting campaign performance via Oracle Eloqua Insight and/or Tableau.

* Knowledge of tools that integrate with Eloqua are a plus: PathFactory, Salesforce, Stensul, etc.
