About Destination DC(DDC), the official destination marketing organization for the nation's capital, is a private, non-profit membership organization of 1,000 businesses committed to marketing the area as a premier global convention, tourism and special events destination with a special emphasis on the arts, cultural and historic communities. Destination DC (DDC) welcomes an Apprentice to assist the Partnerships & Alliances (P&A) team and learn about destination marketing. Visit washington.org for more information.
About the Partnerships & Alliances Department
P&A is an exciting and entrepreneurial revenue-generating department within DDC. P&A generates income through membership (dues), sponsorship, and special events. Engagement of these businesses is critical--when DDC programs flourish, partner businesses thrive and contribute to our vibrant economy and the positive image and identity of Washington, DC, as a world-class destination for locals, visitors, and convention attendees.
About the DEI Business Fellowship The DEI Business Fellowship was launched in the Fall of 2021 as a purposeful effort to highlight and engage small businesses owned and operated by historically underrepresented groups. The cohort of select businesses receives a free year of DDC membership and sales and marketing support. Through mentorship, complimentary marketing, education, and networking opportunities, DDC strives to sustain and grow these businesses to help them reach business and leisure travelers.
