Deutsch Family Wine & Spirits currently seeks an Integrated Business Processes (IBP) Analyst to join the team. The ideal IBP Analyst will not just sit idly and gather requirements but will instead ask meaningful questions and ensure all angles of a problem are scrutinized.

This role offers a high degree of flexibility between working remotely and working in our Stamford, CT office reporting to the Sr. Director of IT Solutions, & Enterprises Processes. The Integrated Business Processes Analyst will work closely within a cross-functional team and strive to balance scope and schedule. A great Analyst will compel their audience with well-articulated issues and solutions backed up with data.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery on cross-functional processes to understand ways of working, identifying and analyzing opportunities for improvement.
• Document as-is and to-be processes, create gap analysis, and lay out action plans to achieve optimal processes.
• Work closely with business users on how best to use systems to perform daily functions and identify project requirements through interviews, workshops, operations analysis, and best practices research.
• Work with stakeholders to prioritize collected requirements based on risk, benefit, and scope.
• Bridges between the business team and the development team to ensure functional requirements are understood and ensure development requirements integrated across all applicable systems.
• Provide input on processes by using a cross-functional lens to understand different perspectives.
• Utilize strong analytical abilities to identify root causes of business issues.
• Research industry leading best practices to drive change.
• Schedule and lead Information Gathering, Testing, Status Update Meetings, Executional Sessions, and Lessons Learned.
• Assist and sometimes lead the Project Management of initiatives using DFWS Project Methodology.
• Prepare and acquire sign-off of Project Charters, Project Plans, and QA for Test Scripts.
• Document requirements to detail requirements, solution design, adherence to best practice, and metrics.
• Document functional specifications when required to support enhancement work.
• Assist in the development and execution of an Integrated Business Process Roadmap.
• Create and sometimes facilitate presentations.
• Assist the Operations Solutions Director and IBP Lead on departmental strategy.
• Assist in creating cross-departmental and multi-system workflows.
• Work independently and manage multiple task assignments.
• Other miscellaneous tasks assigned by Manager.

Basic Qualifications:

• Experience in Information Systems, Accounting or Finance preferred
• Deep understanding of Project Management methodology
• Foundational understanding of General Accounting, Supply Chain and HR processes.
• Be flexible in an evolving environment
• Experience documenting technical requirements and developing process flows
• Dedicated team player that takes initiative
• Exceptional communication skills with ability to present to Senior Management
• Able to work with diverse, cross-functional teams
• Possess strong problem-solving mastery, attention to detail, and organizational skills
• Contribute to help build and execute the strategic vision of the department
• BA/BS required (preferably in Information Systems, Finance or Accounting)

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP certified or project management experience
• Food and Beverage / Alcohol experience
• Consulting experience
• End-user training experience
