Deutsch Family Wine & Spirits is currently seeking a Production Business Analyst to join the team. The ideal Production Business Analyst will not just sit idly and gather requirements but will instead ask meaningful questions and ensure all angles of a problem are scrutinized.

This role offers a high degree of flexibility between working remotely and working in our Stamford, CT office reporting to the ERP Manager. This role will work closely within a cross-functional team and strive to balance scope and schedule. A great Analyst will compel their audience with well-articulated issues and solutions backed up with data. They will support the overall design, plan, and execution of all Production-related initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Support the end-to-end Production process and systems design across our ERP (JDE) and supporting applications (Crafted by NetSuite, InnoVint, Cognos).
  • Owns the Production solutions from a hands-on configuration and functional perspective and governs all changes (break-fix and minor enhancements)
  • Works closely with business users on how best to use the systems to perform daily functions and identify project requirements through interviews, workshops, operations analysis, and best practices research.
  • Work with stakeholders to prioritize collected requirements based on risk, benefit, and scope
  • Documents requirements to detail application requirements, solution design, adherence to best practice, and metrics
  • Documents functional specifications when required to support enhancement work
  • Bridges between the business team and the development team to ensure functional requirements are understood and ensure development requirements integrated across all applicable systems
  • Performs unit testing of proposed changes and supports user testing, implementation, training, and support
  • Provide insightful operational analysis based on a predetermined metrics (KPIs)
  • Prepare reports to be reviewed by leadership teams
  • Utilize strong analytical abilities to identify root causes of business issues
  • Assist the Operations Solutions Director and ERP Manager on departmental strategy
  • Project Manager for applicable initiative utilizing Project Management Methodology
  • Work independently and manage multiple task assignments

Basic Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience working with ERP Systems (NetSuite preferred or JDE's EnterpriseOne v9.0 or higher)
  • Strong working knowledge of Production/Manufacturing, Order-to-Cash and Purchase-to-Pay processes
  • Foundational understanding of General Accounting, Inventory Costing, Supply Chain and EDI
  • Be flexible in an evolving environment
  • Dedicated team player that takes initiative
  • Exceptional communication skills with ability to present to Senior Management
  • Able to work with diverse, cross-functional teams
  • Possess strong problem-solving mastery, attention to detail, and organizational skills
  • Contribute to help build and execute the strategic vision of the department
  • Experienced with Spirits or Winemaking software
  • BA/BS required (preferably in Manufacturing or Supply Chain)

Preferred Qualifications

  • PMP certified or project management experience
  • Food and Beverage / Alcohol experience
  • Consulting experience
  • End-user training experience
