Responsibilities
    Assist "Unaccompanied Housing Tiger Team" lead and Working Groups with collaboration from MilDep experts to develop policy as directed by ASD(EI&E) that will address issues from GAO report on barracks and FY 2024 NDAA recommend housing reforms.
  • Draft and staff housing policy with coordination from MilDeps and OSD staff.
  • Draft response to congressional letters and staff for signature by ASD(EI&E).
  • Manage and maintain CATMS system of DoD Government Housing Actions.
  • Coordinate and participate in meetings to facilitate ongoing Government-Housing actions.
  • Provide ODASD(H) with updates for monthly DMAG submissions.
  • Lead monthly Homeowner Assistance Program (HAP) review with HAP Manager at HQ, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. Prepare and staff appeal packages for decision by ASD(EI&E).
  • Create installation site visit reports for (OASD(EI&E)) and DASD(H) using data from enterprise Military Housing (eMH) information management system for travel visiting military installations to see housing conditions.
  • Develop and/or use simple databases and spreadsheets; assist with data collection, data analysis, and research.
  • Perform data quality and data assurance reviews; conduct data analyses using qualitative and quantitative methods, prepare summary displays to report analysis results and findings.
  • Planning and execution of studies, working groups, projects, and other activities that span across the multiple organizations and agencies.
  • Develop and deliver briefings and white papers as required to document and provide the results of any analysis performed.
  • Analyze and respond to congressional, DoDIG, and GAO inquiries regarding portfolio programs.
Qualifications
  • Secret clearance is required
  • 5 or more years of experience supporting DoD or other Federal agencies
  • Previous experience with DoD Housing or a Logistics background is desired
  • Bachelor's degree is desired
  • Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Experience as a junior or non-commissioned officer leading DoD programs is highly desired.
  • Prior experience providing administrative support to senior DoD leadership
  • Excellent organizational skills, ability to establish and maintain working relationships with internal and external staff members, and the ability to work independently and take a proactive role
  • Flexibility and ability to prioritize tasks according to senior staff requirements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
  • A true team player who maintains a positive attitude in a dynamic environment
  • High energy, enthusiasm, tact, ability to interact effectively with senior executives from Government and industry as well as Pentagon staff members.
  • Ability to create and foster a cooperative work environment.
  • Self-directed, detail oriented in completing assigned tasks, able to adapt to changing work efforts and manage impact of shifting priorities.
