Summary: Avetta Solution Engineer: Curious, Collaborative, and Message-Driven

Join Avetta as a Solution Engineer, where you'll be at the forefront of pre-sales engagement, focusing on our enterprise and mid-market clients. This dynamic role combines consultative selling, technical prowess, and client relationship building while supporting our true customers - our sellers. You will be joining a highly collaborative (and fun!) team, with influence and exposure across the organization. Perpetually curious, applicants should strive to understand "the why" behind our solutions and harness data and customer examples to support product claims. We expect Solution Engineers to go beyond basic navigation; applicants should be able to craft vivid and relatable storylines that bring our products to life.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support Asia Pacific region enterprise and mid-market opportunities.
  • Champion assigned opportunities, providing technical and strategic insight.
  • Conduct thorough research on client operations and pain points.
  • Engage prospects in exploratory conversations to tailor product recommendations.
  • Collaborate in crafting proposals, presentations, workflows, and value propositions.
  • Deliver scheduled and impromptu demonstrations for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate intuitive navigation, application, and value of our solution suite.
  • Share knowledge gained with Implementation Team for post-contract transitions.
  • Take the lead on pivotal cross-functional projects, including standup and maintenance of Demonstration Environment for Workforce Management solution suite.
  • Act as a crucial link between clients / prospects and Product / Marketing teams.
  • Drive communication of new product releases and features.
  • Establish expertise on competitive advantage and key regional players.
  • Collaborate to create client-facing sales and marketing resources.
  • Co-host marketing events showcasing latest features and their value.
  • Provide support at conferences, industry gatherings, and client events.
  • Cultivate customer relationships, identifying growth opportunities.
  • Engage in enablement activities, trainings, product release processes, and team events.
  • Mentor junior team members, sharing knowledge and fostering collaboration.
  • Eager for regular domestic travel; with international travel potential.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of sales, pre-sales or similar client-facing experience, highlighting technical expertise.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, computer science or similar.
  • HSE, Risk Management, Procurement or Sustainability industry experience is an asset.
  • Ability to create and deliver targeted, comprehensive, and informative presentations.
  • Experience with technical writing, analytics and / or process visualization a plus.
  • Proficiency in a range of applications, including MS Office, Salesforce, Tableau, JIRA, etc.
