THE OPPORTUNITY:

Join our Strategic Analytics & Intelligence (SAI) team and be a part of sparking action and driving impact in the healthcare landscape. We provide strategic advisory, business guidance, and decision support to senior leadership in Commercial, Medical, and Government Affairs. As a trusted and objective expert, you will leverage your analytical and problem-solving skills to deliver actionable insights that benefit patients and customers. Key Responsibilities:

Deep Understanding and Insight Delivery:

  • Develop a deep understanding of patients, customers, and market dynamics to deliver insights that drive patient impact.

  • Help stakeholders define clear and impactful business priorities, supporting the development of action plans.

  • Apply analytical and statistical methods to answer a variety of business questions using multiple data sources and technical tools.

Monitoring and Optimization:

  • Monitor and assess the effectiveness of promotional efforts, projects, and practices, identifying opportunities to optimize the value of investments.

  • Support the identification and development of innovative programs and projects to enhance targeting and measurement of market promotions.

  • Increase the sophistication and application of advanced analytics methods to guide portfolio-level decisions efficiently.

Collaboration and Thought Partnership:

  • Collaborate within cross-functional teams to develop solutions that drive business and patient value.

  • Provide an objective and holistic point of view, effectively weighing and communicating trade-off considerations.

  • Act as a thought partner and advisor to relevant teams and stakeholders, establishing opportunities for peer mentorship.

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant discipline: Business, Economics, Engineering, Statistics, Life Sciences, Mathematics, Computer or Physical Sciences, or related field.

  • Experience working with analytical tools such as Python, R, and SQL. Expertise in statistical modeling, analysis, and presenting results to non-technical audiences.

  • Strong knowledge of secondary data sources, including syndicated sales, promotional and marketing data, and longitudinal patient-level data.

  • Proven track record of leadership, time-management, project management, and teamwork.

  • This position is located in South San Francisco and relocation benefits will not be provided.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of relevant work experience preferred.

  • Working knowledge of secondary data sources, including syndicated sales, promotional and marketing data, and longitudinal patient-level data. Experience with payer data is a plus.

  • Experience with field-force analytics, including customer segmentation, targeting, and promotional response measurements is preferred.

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of California is $152K - $283K. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
