The Web Systems Manager plays a vital role in supporting the operational excellence of MongoDB's Marketing organization. In this technical and cross-functional role, the candidate will execute as a key player in configuring and improving MongoDB's Web Analytics Systems' infrastructure and their visualization layers, making it self-serve and easy to use by our teams. They will work closely with stakeholders across Marketing and Analytics to ensure the metrics and dimensions reflect our business needs, and well documented to scale to our needs.

This role can be based out of our New York City office or remotely in the region.

Main Responsibilities
  • Maintain multiple systems in Web Analytics stack (eg. Amplitude, Segment, GA4, Mixpanel, etc), being responsible for setting up the configurations, gatekeeping the metrics and dimensions' definitions, as well as connecting acting as the go-to-person for tool support
  • Partner with Analytics on how to leverage Web Analytics data for advanced reporting
  • Help our organization derive actionable insights through enablement on our Web Analytics stack
  • Ensure systems, data pipelines, and integrations are documented and with the due monitoring process
  • Work closely with other teams (Tracking, Web, and Analytics) to ensure business needs are met by our data collection
  • Act as an active voice in defining the source of truth for our TOFU data
  • Stay up to date with the latest industry best practices, regulations and new tools that affect web analytics reporting
  • Proactively plan and organize system maintenance
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in analytics or marketing operations positions
  • Vast experience acting as power user of Web Analytics and Data Visualization tools (GA360/GA4, Segment, Amplitude, Mixpanel, Data Studio, Tableau, etc).
  • Experience across a variety of SQL environments (Presto/Trino, BigQuery, etc)
  • Basic knowledge of ETL and Data Pipeline processes
  • Knowledge of script-based Web Tracking frameworks, such as Google Tag Manager, Segment, etc.
  • Excellent organizational, project management, communication skills, and script governance skills
  • Natural drive for innovation and creative problem-solving
  • Bachelor's Degree focusing on Information Technology, Marketing, Digital, Business Analytics, Computer Science or related preferred

  • Experience with B2B and PLG
  • Advanced knowledge of Salesforce infrastructure.

MongoDB's base salary range for this role is posted below. Compensation at the time of offer is unique to each candidate and based on a variety of factors such as skill set, experience, qualifications, and work location. Salary is one part of MongoDB's total compensation and benefits package. Other benefits for eligible employees may include: equity, participation in the employee stock purchase program, flexible paid time off, 20 weeks fully-paid gender-neutral parental leave, fertility and adoption assistance, 401(k) plan, mental health counseling, access to transgender-inclusive health insurance coverage, and health benefits offerings. Please note, the base salary range listed below and the benefits in this paragraph are only applicable to U.S.-based candidates.

MongoDB's base salary range for this role in the U.S. is:
$70,000$138,000 USD
